I guess for that price you can't really go wrong. I just found the DR games fun at first and fun to play as a sandbox but they get very boring very fast.

Not worth the time even if it was $1. Capcom has been on a downward spiral even before Dead Rising 2. I thought it was really bad. The controls were wonky. It's not even cheesy funny. It doesn't take itself seriously but it's not even good at that. Boring, boring game.. and a poor design decision.

If you like escort missions and moving 2 miles an hour from one area to the next pick it up.

Personally I hated it.

It was one of my favourite games of whatever year it came out in. Great production values, heaps of content, plenty of secrets to discover, fun combat, and killing zombies never gets old.

That said, I'd only recommend it to people who enjoy a good challenge. It's far less forgiving than something like Dark Souls - you really need to plan ahead if you intend to avoid losing survivors or hitting game over screens.

*edit* I don't remember having any problems with the controls, even on mouse and keyboard. And as for slow movement...levelling up makes you move faster, and there are heaps of vehicles to discover as you go.

Oh, I should also mention that Off the Record may be the better choice. I didn't like Frank as much as Chuck, but OTR has more content.

I'd have to say this game is not worth buying on pc. I got it during last summer's Steam sale, but (like many others) I haven't been able to get my gamepad to work with it...and this is not a keyboard & mouse friendly game. Painfully ironic considering this is a port of a console game and was originally designed to be used with a controller.

You pick up a weapon, kill 2 zombies with it then it breaks.

There will be like 200 zombies between you and where you want to go. I don't understand who thought that was good game design.
