Dragon Age 2 gauntlets PLEASE HELP!

I have all of the pieces of the armor of the fallen (boots,helm & body) but I can't find the gauntlets(gloves) I know that they are supposed to be in a cave inSundermount but on every article I read it says "during the quest Long way home" and I have completed that quest long time ago,and when I came back there wasn't any trace of the gloves and I looked hard..Are they there only during the quest or am I not looking hard enough..I'm really curious plz any help would be muchappreciated!

I missed them as well, but you can pick them up after the quest. The rubble that hides them is tucked away in a corner, so make sure you check every inch of the cave.
