I'm just going by what they've said though. I personally think it will be great either way, but we'll just have to wait and see.

it just looks awkward how they try to make it look like a hack and slash and yet the way he swings the sword is very rpgish.

i do hope this game is better than it looks and they haven't ruined it because i love the first game.

Even though mass effect 2 got high scores the game was much less of an RPG then the first mass effect and it appears this game will suffer from the same fate.

I am impressed thus far with the jump in graphics..the first one looked a bit dated but was definately an amazing game. First day buy for me regardless of reviews.

What was that?! Did the first couple of posters watch a different video or something?! That was just the same video people have been posting (and complaining about) over and over again. It was also the console version if u noticed the control on the screen on the left. biggest_loser

The previous videos where showing the "exaggerated" gameplay,told by a narrator as part of the new framed narrative.It was claimed that the combat will be entirely different in the "non exagerated"part.

This is the "non exaggerated "part,because it`s known that the armors are different,and Hawke`s entire family is with Her/Him in the "non exaggerated" part ,and IMO it doesnt look specifically different.

There are PC previews ,and these are not fond of the "port"feeling that is present in the camera and combat behavior.

Am i the only one that think it look worse, the combat look clunky and the camera... OMG the camera *rips eyes out*

But anyway... It looks like they tried to make it more of a "action" game with hack and slash elements then a RPG games with stratedgy involved?

No you are not.I don`t mind the changes for the sake of nitpicking on something,but the PC was described as:

Hit 1,2,3,4, and "something awesome happens",like button mashing on keyboard.

Sometimes it nearly sounds like fear.One cannot compare CD Project with Bioware,80 vs 800 people,EA marketing backing them,Dragon age will sell more-definitely,will it be a better game- doubt it.

Stuffing theMechs-the other way?
Lightning beacons-the other way?
Recruiting people-the other way?
Loyalty-the other way?
It`s a POV thing ,the game play can be seen as better,for people needing the fast pace.
The story and RPG elements were weaker,and I can live without gear and looting in a game.
The only actual Shepard related choices are the Paragon- Renegade options seen from the side off gameplay fun.
At the end there are less then 5 important things that will affect ME3.

the choices: who lives and who dies?

MANY side quests that have interesting effects on them world

cheat on your original lover or stay loyal?

who to cheat with if you are going to?

save or kill an entire colony?

the story was WAY better than the original mass effect, there isnt even a comparison.... the characters themselves are fleshed out a hundred times over what the original game did, and it even fleshes out the stories of the original games characters as well. there arent less RPG elements in the second game... not even. traditional or old school RPG elements are replaced by newer systems, not just taken out all together....

i swear, if people dont get to allocate stats in their RPGs, they think it is just fail. get over yourselves.

You seem to be more conserned about what game wins more awards from the media then what game is ACTUALLY the better game. The fact that you took the time to find a poor review of the game and place it as your Sig when there are tons of great reviews out there is a huge sign of denial

"Awards" mean nothing.

Watch any music/movie/tv award and tell me you can judge their worth based on how many awards they win.

Personal opinion and taste are far more significant.
