Dragon age - can't get INTO circle of Magi

hi I personally think this is a bug. I am playing as a Dalish Elf warrior I have quite a few team members

I can get over the Calahad Lake by boat and talk to Gregoire but i can't get in thru the main doors of the circle of magi

I think it may be this way thru the entire game because I have been trying for sometime.

someone said you can't do something or other unless you are a mage. Does that mean i can never get into cirlce of magi then???

I really want and need the character wynn!! anyway can anybody help. why can't i get in??

So you talked to the Templar, and told him your ready? It should automatically put you in and the doors close and lock behind you.

I think I said I'm not ready and left and went back to redcliff and did heaps of story line

then I come back again and now it wont let me in, like I missed my chance or something??
