Hey. I just bought Dragon Age, and I want to be a evil human Mage (so i will use Intimidation mostly)
I read a lot about game and it seems that I need to have a high strength to use this skill right?
But Mage dont need streangth so... How will I be able to intimidate NPCs in the game not having a high strength? (and I dont want to take Arcane Warior)

You don't need strength for intimidation. I'm not really sure, but I think it was cunning.

When you level up or just when you're creating your character, when you hover your mouse over a skill you get a text of what it does and who it's best for.

Cunning is for Persuasion if info on Dragon Age wiki is real.

Streangth is for Intimidation.

You need cunning to get the skill itself up to max. The skill itself will increase the chance to get intimidation to work. However The higher the strength stat is the better your chance is.

so... if I will raise Cunning to 16, Coercion to max, and i will leave strength in default points, then I will have chance to intimidate NPCs?

You need to remember some things are harder. So if you want a higher chance you will need more strength. But yes thats the general thing. You will be able to do intiminate most of the creatures / events in the game. But not all.
