Laptops are often unreliable, if you believe that you can run on medium judging only by the requirements then i would reccomend lowering your expectasions.

What are the specs on your laptop and how do you know in advance what settings you would be able to run it on? I play it on a laptop. I have a Intel Core Duo 2 2.26 ghz, 4gb ddr3 ram and 1gb 9800mgts. I run the game on high settings with 1440 x 900 res. I love it on PC. I find, at least based on my experiences, that there is a lot of misconceptions about gaming on laptops on these forums. Not that I am suggesting a laptop is ever asgood as a quality rig.

I would say so. It's the type of game that is really much more ideally controlled via keyboard/mouse.

I hear the game is fundamentally changed in its combat in the console version. The PC version is much more tactical and difficult. If this is your cup of tea, get it for the laptop... the graphics aren't much to look at regardless. If it were me, I'd get it for PC...

Probably. The game controls a lot better on the PC. It has a much better interface. The 360 version's graphics are pretty underwhelming.

Your graphics card is a bit entry-level, but otherwise it looks fine. You might be able to play it on medium, but that graphics card is my biggest concern. Dragon Age is one game you should try to buy on the PC. Unlike recent games, Dragon Age is by a significant margin best on the PC. But if you're not sure you can run it, then you should get the console version.

Well, I've only played it on consoles, but I'm starting to wish I'd just waited to get my pc. To make up for controller limitations they lowered the ammount of enemies on consoles and jacked up their health. It doesn't change balance too much, but I find that kind of combat to be much less fun. But I haven't played on PC yet, so maybe the differences in enemies aren't as big as I've heard.

PC definitely. I have a weaker config and I play on medium just fine. You'll probably be able to play on MED/HIGH settings.

Do you like yours? I really enjoy mine. But, if I had it to do over again, I would have built my own desktop rig and bought a netbook. But, the 7805u has taken everything I have thrown at it thus far.
