What are the specs on your laptop and how do you know in advance what settings you would be able to run it on? I play it on a laptop. I have a Intel Core Duo 2 2.26 ghz, 4gb ddr3 ram and 1gb 9800mgts. I run the game on high settings with 1440 x 900 res. I love it on PC. I find, at least based on my experiences, that there is a lot of misconceptions about gaming on laptops on these forums. Not that I am suggesting a laptop is ever asgood as a quality rig.
aha well yeah your laptop is unusually powerful don't think op's will be as much so. On topic, i haven't played the game on 360 but damn it is amazing on pc. I hear the game is fundamentally changed in its combat in the console version. The PC version is much more tactical and difficult. If this is your cup of tea, get it for the laptop... the graphics aren't much to look at regardless. If it were me, I'd get it for PC...

Well, I've only played it on consoles, but I'm starting to wish I'd just waited to get my pc. To make up for controller limitations they lowered the ammount of enemies on consoles and jacked up their health. It doesn't change balance too much, but I find that kind of combat to be much less fun. But I haven't played on PC yet, so maybe the differences in enemies aren't as big as I've heard.
