Anybody else use this program? I just started using it today and it seems pretty cool. Basically you talk into a microphone and it types your words for you. sometimes you still have to edit, though. But speaking into it is a lot faster than typing.

Hmmm, interesting. I type quite fast, but I would still like to try it out. How reliable is it tho?GazaAli
As long as you spend time training it, its awesome, and speaking is always faster than typing. It also helps the old folk or some of us with a disability where typing is tedious/hard.

Well, more power to you, sir, for not lettin' it get in the way of you havin fun as a fellow gamer of mine. Besides DNS, I've been using all sorts o' voice command/recognition software for my games for years now (anyone here remember Game Commander?). And no, I don't have CP or anythin' like that, I'm just a very bad typist, period. LOL!
For people askin' if DNS or other "voice software" works even for frantic multiplayer gaming (FPS,RTS,RPG): YES, it does. And maybe I just lucked out, but I never even had to train nothin! And I have a fairly-heavy drawl. And BTW, to address your OP, Apostle, though I use 'em for TEXT chat every now and then, I mostly use these tools for hands-free voice commands (yes, I'm too lazy to be bothered w/ hotkeys & menus, LOL). But why not text chat, you ask? Well, 'coz we have VOICE chat for communition purposes, don't we? And that's even easier than typin OR vocalizing texts! Now, for the RARE case that a modern multiplayer game doesn't have voice chat, I can just command the chat box into view and start dictatin. So either way, I still got nothin to worry about!
With that said, recognition software (voice, optical, handwriting, etc.) has never claimed to be perfect, just accurate. At least, for now. And the best ones can be taxing if you don't have a fairly high-end rig. So use at your own risk. For the typing wizards here, by all means, stay away [I hate u anywayz]. Hehe, kiddin, but for the normal folks here who're lazy, hates typin $#|+ and doesn't have any problems tryin out fancy-schmancy stuff like me, dive in fellas, it's game-immersive (also for SP games), very convenient, not to mention awesome fun! LOL :P
