Hey, so I currently have a 26 inch lcd monitor at 1920x1200, and i wanted to add another monitor to my setup. Probably a cheap Hanns-G 19 inch lcd at like 1440x900. I know my GTX 295 can handle both, but will there be any problems with the difference in resolutions?

Also, will I be able to play a game on the main display and surf the web on the other at the same time? or make the game play on both? how does that work? thanks

I can't really remember how my nvidia card did it but it worked fine with my 23" 1920x1080 and my 17" 1280x1024. it basically made the desktop from my 23" go all the way to my 17".

In order to browse while playing games, I have to play said game in maximized windowed mode.

Not really. I mean, I can alt tab if I really want to, if I must or the game cant minimize, I just use the pc beside me. Though pressing a button to switch the keyboard and mouse over is anoyying. I usually just grab my psp like during a loading, and play some streets of rage. Yay for rooted psps.

(Though sometimes I just run the game windowed, this is only if I am making something for the game and I need it open at the same time.

Yes, your second monitor remains unchanged while playing games. Sometimes i have a video running on my 2nd monitor when I dont have firefox open.

Windowed mode + maximized = no alt +tab necessary.

so basically i have 2 choices: either i play the game in normal mode on the main display, and leave the other monitor on the desktop, and be forced to alt tab to mouse over to the second one. OR i play in windowed mode so i can click out of the game and over to the second display. assuming im not playing a 2 monitor supported game

As I said, I do if I have to. I don't like playing in Windowed mode.

when it is maximized it is basically the same as playing in fullscreen, except you dont have to tab out.
