Alright to start things off, the computer I'm using does not have two vga or dvi ports it only has one and I don't want to go through the hassle of installing an adaptor. Now the montor I'm using is the Samsung syncmaster 192mp and has video ports in the back. One dvi and one for vga. So I was wondering would it be possible to dualscreen using the two ports on the back of my monitor instead of the ports on my comp. I can test this out failrly easily since I have the dvi cable easily, but I want to make sure before I try it.

You need two ports to dualscreen, either on the same card or on separate cards. Just because your monitor supports different signals in does not imply you have the ability to dualscreen.

Dual screen is when you have 2 monitors attached to the same device...

The monitor has several inputs to allow diffeent devices to use the same monitor (but not at the same time)
