Is it possible to use two PSUs together, say two 400 watters? This would make it easier for me if you could as I could just add a small PSU in and save some money :P

I'm not sure if it's something you're interested in trying, but it is doable. It all just depends on if you feel you have the know-how and are willing to give it a shot.

Ah, ok now I've looked at it it looks do able. To use it in your PC though, it would mean modding your case to fit it. It would work, but it would easier to buy a more powerful PSU. But I might give it a try :P Thanks

Dual PSU's are designed for servers to provide redundancy incase one PSU fails. Using multiple PSU for a home device is not recommended.

You can do that simple mod that the other guy posted, to get a 2nd PSU to turn on, but it runs independant of the other PC. You'll need to shut off the PC and the other PSU each time you want to turn things on or off. I would not advice attaching any critical devices on that second PSU (like an ATA hard drive or a video card).

Frankly, im rather confused as to why you want to do this. 400W is fine for your system and could probably support a GTS 250 without any problems. If you were going to go any higher thana GTS 250, i dont imagine spending $60 on a 600W+ PSU would be a bank breaker.

What 400w PSU do you have?

If nothing else you can look into those PSU's that fit in a 5.25 bay and just power the GPU. Like this.
