Dungeon Keeper fans rejoice! "Dungeons" is coming!

Yup, a new game made in similiar fashion to Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2 is being made by the fine folks from Kalypso, the same studio responsible for the delightfully entertaining Tropico games.

It is called Dungeonsand I am definately looking forward to it. If it is anything like Dungeon Keeper and Tropico, I imagine it will have a ton of depth and a boatload of charming, dark humor.

As someone who still plays Dungeon Keeper 2 from time to time, I am definately looking forward to this title.

Please, discuss...have you played Dungeon Keeper games before? Do you like Kalypso? Etc, etc

I am slightly skeptical but hell ROLE on this game if its done right it may replace Dawn Of War as my RTS fix.

I like the sound of the Hero system how you have to meet their needs then torture them to harvest souls etc sounds neat.

The Dungeon Keeper games would be in the top ten of my favorite games during the 90's, Dungeon Keeper 2 especially. Looking at the images of Dungeons, it looks like there won't be a first-person view (as with DK1 and 2) but rather, third-person for the close ups. That's fine. I'll wait for the reviews first. But, it'd be near the top of my list of must-have games.

If they can capture the fun that Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 created for me, it will be a game quickly added to my collection.Cdscottie

When I first saw it here on GS, the first thing that came into my mind was "wow, a new Dungeon Keeper".

I haven't played DK 2, but spent countless hours in the first one. Top-notch, absolutely addicting. Hopefully this "Dungeons" will be just as good.
