My DVD drive on my custom built gaming desktop no longer loads or recognize CD/DVD Rom games. However, it will only load after I reboot my computer with the disc left in the drive. The drive can still load/read audio cds, movies, etc. Therefore, I believe hardware is not the issue. I swapped drives, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and end-up with the same results. I was also wondering if SecuROMor DRM could be linked with this problem? Any suggestions or theories, is highly appreciated. Thanks!
