Which do you think is better for the money?
or better at all ?

I chose E6750. Why? Because the Q6600 is not a very powerful quad core. Wait for Penryns to come out. The E6750 is only 205 CAD and will not be a bottleneck at all for gaming.Dwarfius2
I sort of agree with this...
The Q6600 IS powerful, but it depends how long you want your PC to last.
A Q6600 will probably last longer, as apps get optimised for more cores but at the moment, the E6750 will beat it in most games.
If you just need current raw speed, go for the E6750.
Oh yeah, if you need the processor for something other than gaming, such as video encoding, I think the quad will do a lot better.

u can overclock the quad and have more speed and more cores than the e6750
i'm leaning toward Q6600 because it's quadcore.SDxSnOOpZI notice you oc your processor, how much plus performance are you getting on fps during games?

Did the Q6600 already drop in price???
Eh. In in the same boat as this kid. Im not sure if i should get the Q6600 or the E6850. Like i want to be ready games start taking advantage of quad core because right now most games dont even take advantage of core 2 duo yet.
Q6600 is not worthing for 5fps moredayaccus007agreed games are just now utlizing dual cores so you should be just fine with a E6750 its a great dual core and if you get it you'll save like $120 bucks by getting it then you can save that money and upgrade to a quad core when you really need it

With 3DMark06, I gained atleast 800pts or around 3-4fps, the most gain came from overclocking the gpu. I didnt really benchmark any games, but the FPS increased for sure.
I would suggest the e6750 with a p35 mb that supports 45nm, and of course 1333fsb. Then upgrade to a yorkfield q9450 in 6 months, by that time they will be between 250 to $300. I would like to go quad core right now but I would much rather have a q9450 then a q6600 for the same price, so Im gonna wait for a month for the true Quads. Thats just my opinion, I welcome yours.
