Hey everyone, just wondering how will the e8500 do with games like bad company 2?

my current cpu is an e7500, would i notice much difference between them

the rest if my specs are

2gb of ram

1280x1060 screen res and a 9600gt 512mb

I dunno, but you should get more RAM, 2gb or more.

The e8500 is only 0.24Ghz faster, would be a pretty pointless upgrade.

a friend told me this is the difference:

E8500 as it has a higher clock speed, higher FSB and double the L2 cache that the E7500 has. A higher FSB means that you can get faster RAM, and a higher clock speed means faster processing all round.

Not worth the upgrade,keep your cash and get a better GPU instead
