Does EA/Origin allow mods to their games? I really want to finish my PC build by the time DA:I comes out and it would be cool if I could use mods for that game.

Do we know if DA: Inquisition will even allow mods yet?

I have no idea. I don't know much about PC gaming other than what I read on here and Youtube. I like the idea of mods but does Origin allow them? Will DA:I come out for steam or some other website that allows mods?

Ok, a few details for you:

- Dragon Age Inquisition isn't out yet so we don't know if the game will support mods or not. If so, they are still a year away.

- Dragon Age Origins (Part 1) allows mods and you can use them on Origin.

- Dragon Age Inquisition probably won't release on Steam since it's an EA Game.

@FelipeInside: Wow thank you so much. I really want to finish building it now just to replay Dragon Age Origins.

EA does not allow/support mods for any of their products. That doesn't mean people still don't mod many of EA's titles (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Sims, etc). But EA just doesn't support them. That's why when you search for mods for any of EA's games, you don't come up with much. It's shame, but it is the reality we must face.

The new Dragon Age game will inevitably have a couple mods alongside it. But don't expect Elder Scrolls/Fallout numbers when it comes to the variety and options in modding.

I know the new Sim City allows mods or at least that is in the next update.
