EA asked gamers to be constructive on the ProStreet feedback..this is how I put constructive feedback : GIVE US THE STREETS BACK! any monkey jack game developer can create a race around a track racing game. EA had given us something different. They gave us THE STREETS! But here comes ProStreet..with the circuit racing..c'mon guys..we have a whole loadda circuit racing games...racing on the streets with the police cars in the rear view mirror was what I say is adrenaline instead of blowing dust in circuits.

Yup, agreed. Pro Street was a HUGE let down for me. I hate it on every level - driving physics feels terrible, the whole game system of weekend events is boring, event-specific cars makes things needlessly annoying, way too technical for a NFS game (was not looking for a damned sim), heck, I even liked Most Wanted's graphics better. I think that this might just be the worst racer I've ever played. Even CARBON was better than this...

Dunno what is EA upto now!! If they really want to make a track racing game, better develop it for F1 and WRC. We fans are better happy racing in the streets of NFS world. If we indeed have to race in circuits Project Gotham Racing, Nascar, Gran Turismo are the games we would be playing. EA gave us something different and they better stick to it or else they would be losing fans and at a faster rate. This mistake might be forgiven but the next series is what eyes will be on. If they slip, there wil be no coming back!

And ProStreet is the best selling game in Finland at the moment... Well it's advertised a lot.

ProStreet sucks, the lack of free moving through the city with the police on your back is the main absent thing in this game. This why ProStreet is boring like hell

I got into the NFS series at Underground only for the online scene. I bought NFSU:2, and while it seemed to have some improvements over NFSU, the online for it sucked. No chatroom lobby's is lose. NFS:C was even worse;it takes forever to find a game or get the players to start one, the lag is always bad, and there are cheaters everywhere. You can have a fully decked out T3 car with T3 upgrades and someone will somehow always be twice as fast as you.

The thing I liked about NFSU was that it was nice to log on and be able to find the same people to race with in the same chatroom if you enjoyed playing with them. It was also great how you set track records in ranked and compete for the topspot nationwide, and when people saw you they knew you were a badass. I am all about the community and competition, and can look past minor problems with a game as long as the online for it is good and there's plenty of competition.

It really seems like the racing genre has been going stale for me lately. Would anyone be able to recommend a good online racer? I'm not limited to just the PC, but I am thinking about getting an Xbox360 and own a PS2.

Is EA listening to its NFS fanbase?? Or it will still sitck to their potbellied advisors who say what they have to develop in order to rule the racing scenario?? I wish the EA people would go back to basics and give a game which we would enjoy playing instead of putting glorified GFX engines to impress us.

After so long, a NFS game without a city just felt wrong on so many levels! :(
