[QUOTE="snackdaddy"]**Correction**
I had stated that the Porn Industry had other means to press Blu-Ray disks, which they thought they did, however Sony announced they would revoke any third party Blu-Ray publishers license if they pressed Adult Content.
I don't think this is a massive, blow, but we'll see.

Where do you people get this stuff? Vivid already has a hard release date for porn on Bluray on March 28th. In addition, Sony doesn't have the power to revoke any 3rd party bluray license as it is run by a consortium of companies, not just Sony. I can't believe people still believe that Bluray is a proprietary Sony format controlled by Sony alone.
Although, I had read, somewhere, the Porn said they could find other means to press Blu-Ray disks without using Sony I renigged my previous comment b/c of this interview with Joone, a founder of Digital Playground which seems to say otherwise, or rather a slanted view on press Blu-ray disks...
Initally, Sony had threatened to revove licenses, but due to the problem you pointed out they can't. However, all the third party companies are refusing to do so. Or at least as of right now....

Also the interview makes reference to Vivid's announcement - he's assuming they have their own press, but doesn't know for sure.
So, assuming Vivid does in fact release that title, than I obviously am wrong on the No Porn thing. However, if big publishers don't open their doors I can't imagine it being a cost effective product on their side.
