I'm sure ME3 will be great too, but it's definitely Skyrim for me. I'm a huge fan of Oblivion!

Mass Effect 3. I love Sci-Fi, and I love the Mass Effect universe. Sign me up.

I'll probably buy both, but I'm looking forward to ES:5 more. If I could only buy one game, I'd buy Skyrim.

ME3 for sure it has the best story, yeah Elder S always had 100+ gameplay but it lacks a good story to tempt you to spend this much hour for it

I do too, God I love Sci-Fi. But I'm rolling with Skyrim on this one. But I will get both eventually.

I'm getting both, but I'm honestly a bit worried a bit Skyrim, I don't think the argument that "modders will fix the game" is good if it turns out to be another Oblivion. So I voted ME3, I loved ME2.

Elder Scrolls is just so massive with such variety. My concern is it might get a bit lonely with no other (real players). Although I'm sure I will occupy my time nicely Slaying Dragons!!! It also scares me a bit because I sunk so many hours into Bethesda's previous installment. Mass Effect is a gold standard for RPG shooters, and with Bioware including multiplayer. This one will be hard to pass up. I absolutely loved Mass Effect 1 & 2 and i'm anxiously awaiting this third installment. The heck with it, I'm getting both!!!!

As a giant sci-fi lover, Mass Effect 3 takes this by a fairly wide margin.

But I'll also play Skyrim for sure!

I've got to go with Skyrim seeing as I've never enjoyed the Mass Effect series and never understood the mass appeal it has.

It's touh, but I'd have to pick ME3 just because I'm so attached to Shepard's story.

coin toss for me. I'll most likely enjoy just how open the world is and just how much you can interact with in Skyrim while with ME3 I really, really want to see just what is going to happen storywise and see how my past actions from 2 previous game pans out.

A third person shooter and a hack and slash game both pretending to be rpgs. None, thanks.

Starhawk... FOR THE VECTREX.

I chose starhawk, not as a trolling answer, but more like I don't want either due to various reasons, so Starhawk is my answer.

Even though I don't really care for Elder Scrolls and I don't even think it looks that great, Skyrim wins. I loved Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, but I'm not hyped at all for Mass Effect 3. I don't even know if I'll worry about getting it. I will however get Skyrim just because I like supporting Bethesda's support of the modding community.

I'll go with Mass Effect 3 based on my experience with Oblivion, but the final decision will come after playing both games.

Neither.. Mass Effect 3 with the inclusion of multiplayer seems like its only get blander and more generic.. And Skyrim is the sequel to one of the most overrated games of all time imo, Oblivion, which I couldn't even call a rpg.

Excited for both, getting both, but picked Skyrim in the poll for the extra freedom.

Skyrim = more new stuff.

ES V: Skyrim

Unfortunately I don't think that I'll be able to play ME3 because of EA's greed. Maybe if ME3 is released on Steam or retail (without Origin activation) then I'll get it.

Skyrim. Before ME2 came out I probably would've said ME3 but since ME2 felt like quite a step back I kind of lost faith in ME3. Besides, Skyrim looks amazing so far can't imagine it being worse than anticipated.

ME3 will be awesome but short. Skyrim will be a little less awesome, but will keep me occupied 10 times longer. If it's half as amazing as Oblivion was, my vote is for Skyrim.
