I currently have a T5088, I know it's not great but I was just wondering how compatible it would be with an 8800 GT, I know there can be problems with bottlenecking but I'm not sure exactly how it works, and I want to know if it would be worthwhile to buy the 8800 GT. Also wondering what kind of power source I might need, since I don't think the one I have right now is very strong. Thanks in advance

You need to give us some specs, I doubt anyone knows the exact specs off of a model #.

But, just a heads up, the general consensus with eMachines (I used to have one) is that they suck lol. Hate to say it, but as bad as all pre-made PC's are, eMachines are basically the worst. Post some detailed specs and we can help you some more though.

They're refurbish but they're cheap. :)

Their LCDs SUCK! My cousin has one and his LCD can't produce any form of red so the visuals are strange.

The mobo's PCI-E so the 8800GT will run well.

You have a (PCI-E X16) slot so you will be able to put a 8800gt in there, BUT you will need to upgrade the PSU for something decent

There is more to it than just total Wattage.

If this is the PSU in question then I don't think it will have quite enough juice. It might have enough to run, but would probably be unstable and crash in games.

That PSU has no PCIe connectors, and has 16a on the 12v rail.

You need to upgrade to AT LEAST a 500w PSU (Rosewill or Thermaltake) , 2GB od RAM, and to be honest that CPU is pretty weak. It might bottleneck your 8800GT a little bit. But, yes, if you upgrade your PSU you will be able to use a 8800 GT.
