Endwar not coming to PC?

I can't believe Ubi ditched us on this one, considering it's an RTS title. I thought they were better than that. I guess they're just as bad as Crytek(BOO!!!). Anyone else felling left out?Kuyt19

I'm not much of an RTS fan but theres a few i like and Endwar was looking to be one of them. Oh well another port we may or may not see at some point?

It's on the ubi site. The game is available for pre-order already but not for PC.

Yeah, I think that was the big gimmick for this game, I think I saw some footage/interview where someone said the whole game could be played just by voice command. Either way, the game didn't appeal to me that much, maybe because I'm not much of a RTS fan.

I was waiting for that game, Trust me , I have my EB games calendar in front of me and the juin them on that calendar is ENDWAR. A big ENDWAR calendar page just in front of me.

I thought it was coming out soon, at the same time of consoles...

yeah voice commands are just lame used for moving from one waypoint to another or something, it's not really something special on pcwhere you have a mouse which works many times better

Yeah I know im not a big fan either but it was just something that I've never experienced before, so I wanted to try it. Its more of a curiosity than the excitement to play it. I just like any kind of game but I just have to get hooked to it or else I just cant finish it.

I still remember that time when I was a fan of strategy games, but not anymore.

As some have pointed out the voice thing is a bit of a gimmick when we have the mouse that works perfectly for the RTS.

I meant it's probably not coming out at the same time as the console versions. The official site didn't mention anything about a PC version while the PS3 and X360 logos are up front. That is strange because HAWX has a confirmed PC version and it is still not finished while Endwar already has a pre-order notice. Like i said it'll probably be about 6-9 months after the console versions.Kuyt19

With games like Empire, Dawn of War 2 and StarCraft 2, I don't know why anyone would care about Endwar. Ubisoft has little or no experience with the RTS genre, and they're building a console game.

I hardly see why it being on the PC also could be considered a good thing.

i second that, us brits are also getting the retail release of sins in about 10 days, iv followed this game a little but it never struck me as a game which is going to be as good as either of the titles mentioned

EndWar looks quite interesting to me, obviously after watching the latest gameplay videos it's clearly been designed for consoles, meaning you would probably have the best experience on the console rather than a PC port.

However, if you can afford a PC that would be capable of playing EndWar, there's no reason you can't fork out some money and buy a 360, which are cheap as chips now a days.

I saved up for all 3 platforms so that I wouldn't miss out on any exclusives. It payed off in the long run.

You're right to be concerned about that.

However, we so many RTS games that are so much better than this. Also when you have games like DoW 2, Empire Total War, Starcraft 2, coming out, who is gonna care about some console RTS made by Ubisoft.

exactly...I really don't care about this game...looks like a medicore RTS...

I'd rather wait for DoW2/SC2 or go buy Sins or Supcom...then care about this :lol:
