post what ever hl2 single player mod that is out there that you like but only post 1mod to 2 mods only ok my first 2 mods are nightmare house 2 http://nh2.wecreatestuff.com/ it is an mod with an really good Auto Scare System the 2nd mod is black mesa source this one aint out yet but it is an redone hl1 with better graphics http://www.blackmesasource.com/
if you have a few buddies the epic 40k mod is pretty sweet basically its for HL2 DM and it mods it with new maps and makes it space marines vs space marines/space marines vs nids in team deathmatch
another decent one is citizen one.. however it doesnt work unless you have lost coast installed and if you dont have your res at 1080p it doesnt display right.
WAY too many great mods for HL2. My personal favorite is definitely Goldeneye Source. Neotokyo is pretty cool too. I still need to try out Nightmare House 2 though, I just need to RMA my video cards...
And as far as Black Mesa goes, I still can't tell if it's ever going to be released or not. They REALLY need to update more.

It's horrible because it removes black people? I saw black people (npcs), and even Asians when there weren't any before. Hell, Alyx Vance and her father are both black. Anyways, that's besides the point of the mod. The only female character that really looks like a plastic doll is Alyx Vance's alternate model, and you DON'T have to use it. You can use all original models for any of the main characters and npcs if you choose. But what it does very well is enhance the textures and graphics. Everything looks a lot sharper as well. It's sad to see people think of such negative things of this mod when all it does is enhance a slightly dated looking game that came out several years ago.

You don't have to use the new character models if you don't want to. The texture update is very nice and the mod makes the graphics look so much better.

Something about that mod makes the game.... not HL2. It just doesn't feel like the same game.
