Had I wanted to purchase a PC earlier this year it would almost certainly have been an Alienware m11x. The price was just right, it was a gaming laptop, it was portable, had HDMI, integrated graphics for non gaming tasks. I still think its stupid that Alienware discontinued it.

So now that the m11x is gone, is there any equivalent laptop that's about 11-13", costs around $1000, is portable and not back hurting brick.

I guess there isn't much market for netbook gaming.

I have the first gen which can actually play old or low demanding games. I am a fan of the size since I can just plugin to tv/monitor at home and easy to use on the go. Though I bet the peens of those that need 17 inch steered away from sizes like these.

Scan and PC specialist do similar things in UK, 650m GPUs i believe for cheaper than alienware did. Not sure about US though.

Thanks for all the replies. What do you think of the Maingear Pulse 11 or Origin Eon-11S?

Clevo w110ER.... Awesome for an 11.6 inch laptop. It is similar in specs to an alienware m14x
