I just bought ETQW, and I'm having a hell of a time getting it to run. I was gonna see if anyone has been having the same issues or not. I installed the game today, but in order to play online I have to create an account, but everytime the I try to create the account the game freezes and stops responding.....Anyone have any ideas or have had the same issue?

P.S. I have d/l and installed the latest vid card drivers and my specs surpass the minimum requirements.

Watch on their website if there's a link or something to create your account there. Maybe the game try to open a webpage and freeze. I can say really much, I didn't bought the game yet.

When you say you Dled & installed the new vid drivers, does that mean you uninstalled the old ones first? Installing new drivers over old ones is NOT doing anything for you. You need to completely remove the old drivers before you install new ones.

I haven't played the full version of QW because in my opinion, it is quite lame. At least the gameplay in the demo was. I just thought I would say that removal of old drivers is needed first if you update drivers.

That isn't true at all. New drivers write right over the old ones when you install them. You do not need to remove the old drivers first.

I bought Quake Wars yesterday and it took me awhile to create an account and to find the graphics settings, as it was kind of hidden.

Just go to there website and make an account...... also if you use Peer guardian or any kind of program like that, it might be stopping you from registering/creating an account.

Hope you get it working, ive had alot of fun with the game so far :)

I believe that I had to also set up user on the website, it's been a couple of months now, and I've logged a whopping 1.6 hours on it, WOOT! (lol) Actually wish I had more time to play, it is fun, if not frantic action.
