Eurogamer giving free Cataclysm keys!

Woop eurogamer is giving out cataclysm beta keys, just got mine!!

Oh well, I already got a beta invitation from blizzard just about a week ago, enjoying it so far.

I was wondering I know that a beta is all about experiencing new content for most people but why do people put so many hours into something that in a month or so will not matter at all. Is it just because they like playing the game and finding new things out etc or are they allowed to keep anything from beta, gold etc Doubt they are but just wondering.
