I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm saying that you should Google the system requirements, find out what video card it needs on the everquest website, and then you're good, you don't need to make this waste of a thread.
Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP
Processor: 1GHz or greater
RAM: 512 MB
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64 MB of texture memory
Sound Card: DirectSound compatible audio hardware
Hard Drive Space: 7 GB free hard disk space
CD-ROM Speed: 4x CD-ROM drive (required only at installation)
Internet Connection: 56Kbps modem or better
Other: Keyboard, mouse
Atm i havn't seen a system that can handle it on FULL graphics in a middle of a group battle.
3gb ram
amd fx 60
radeon x1900 crossfireSlannmage
Yea that seems to be the case. I suppose it was a good move to allow the game's graphics to constantly reach to new standard, but it is frustrating for PC gamers.
System requirementsIf my memory serves me right the reccomeneded system specs for that game are just out of this world. Like 2.4 ghz with like 2 gbs of ram or something like that. For 2 years ago when that game was released that was insane.Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP

Dell is that a joke or a real anwser? [QUOTE="Chaos_Zero13"][QUOTE="Rockr"]God you people are rude. I'm asking whether a system to play the game on the highest graphics settings is currently available. And if it is, what does that system look like? Try finding that on google. Get over yourself man. Sonicgod
Yes his statement was a huge generalization, though Dell is very respectable when it comes to making high performance and affordable laptops..  Not sure about desktops sense I build my own..
Oh yeah, they definitely made this game to, number one, be very scalable, and number 2, totally future proof.I would say it runs pretty well too, there's so many graphics settings to mess with i just said screw it and i used the presets, and i can run it at i think it's Very High, something like that, anyway its either the second or third highest settings, no AA because it doesn't seem to work in the game for some reason, i think there's AF, at 1024 and it runs really smooth for the most part. The only time i have problems with it are in the largest cities, where it swaps RAM all the time.Other than that there's really no performance issues, and it's definitely one of the most beautiful games out there.A64 3400, gig of RAM, X850 Pro.BloodMist
Yep I agree, though I have noticed some type of memory leak in the engine that can start causing the performance to crawl after a certain amount of time (say 2 to 3 hours+ straight.)
Makes me wonder also why Vanguard didn't use this engine what so ever when it is arguably one of the most capable out there for MMOs.
What kind of insane system is required to play EQ2 on the highest quality levels with a playable framerate?RockrI don't think any system can max this game out yet. There are so many settings to play with, I'm sure it will make any system come to a crawl.
