Does anyone still play Everquest II... I am about to get a computer that can actually play games (I have been playing consoles for the last 10 years) and wanted to know if Everquest II has died due to WoW or if it still is pretty popular online... THANKS

Last I heard it was alive and well. Considering the population of WoW, you might find a few actual decent human beings playing EQ2.

It's obviously not World of Warcraft huge, but the community feels pretty healthy in the wake of the release of Echoes of Faydwer.

Great expansion pack, and, as the poster above noted, great community (I've been playing WoW since release, and that's one of the games major shortcomings - the community is made up of puerile b.net kiddies).
