Explorer.exe Error at Startup

Hi, recently ive been getting this error message stating that Explorer.exe had an error. After i click on Ok it will hide the taskbar and the desktop icons, but after a few seconds they all reappear...

any thoughts? No formatting, because thats the unprofessional way...

yeah, just FYI: the program running that shows the task bar at the bottom and your shortcuts on the desktop just so happens to be called explorer.exe. usually, any time you close it it automaticly restarts itself since, well you can't do much without them. its possible they wont come up in which case you can ctrl+alt+del, click new task, and type explorer.exe.

 but yeah, try putting the OS disk in and repairing windows.

Try Changing your memory slots places. And how this message appear .. is it after windows startup or .. ? I'm sure its not a virus or trojan .. ect causes .

I tryed the Mem and to no avail, and yea after the welcome screen a few seconds later while its processsing the things in the back, which ive already check if there was something strange in MSCONFIG or in my startup in the start menu...trastamad03
