External Hard Drive?

I want an External harddrive to record PC gameplay onto from various MMOs or online games I have. I am using the most up to date version of fraps to record, and my computer is a custom built (2 years ago) duo core 3.16 ghtz processor, 4 GB RAM DDR2, 1 GB nvidia 9600 gt graphics card. Im wondering what kind of external harddrive is best suited for this, or if any random 80 dollar one would be good enough. I want it to be perfect full settings recording. Thanks.
