External Harddrive is that what there called?

Ok so I like to be organized :P and i hav equite a few games (about 20) and i was wondering if the external harddrive i could just place all my games on there I know its weird but thats me :P andif so what would be the nicest easiest to use harddrive (Im thinking 500 gb and only like $80 if thats not enough go up like 10$ thx!)

if you wanna play em off an external hard drive, it would be bad. Things would run alot slower because how its hooked up (probably by USB) so your loading will be limited by the speed of USB which is slower than SATA. get a big INTERNAL HDD and install it, its not hard at all

no thats not what a meant this'll sound weird but i just wanna have it on the drive to have it on the drive im weird i know.

Id still just buy an internal drive. all you do is put it in a drive bay, plug it in to your mobo's sata connectors and format it by selecting format in whatever windows your using. they are cheaper and faster. better price/performance

A) Install the games on the external instead of your main HDD. (whenever you will play games you have to use the external.)

B) just copy the files and put it on your external. (doing it this way would make anything but the savefiles usless.)

So the b option i could put games on there and it could just be on there :P no save files?
