If your video card supports pixel/vertex shader 3.0, get BioShock.

First hook yourself up with a little Fable, thats to ween you of WoW slowly when thats done move onto a little Call of duty 2 or Battlefield vietnam any FPS will do though, then I say a little CandC or if you are bold enough Warcraft 3 its fun!

Soon enough though you'll have to pick up Fear or somthing simpler like GTA or somthin.

it takes long hard work to stop playing WoW.

Neverwinter Nights 2

Gothic 3 with patches and a font fix that helps with FPS. Oh and if you do play gothic 3 save often and in different slots. (you will thank me later).

S.T.A.L.K.E.R

Oblivion is ok but you need to mod the hell out of it.

Well for kitting WoW it took me, humm 10 secs, I just realised TBC destroyed all the game, and now they're even going to launch another expansion like the amount of time taken for farming reputations and getting better gear wasnt enought, to need to replace all again for the 2nd time

Can't go wrong with the Call of Duty series. However if you play multiplayer for too long (I played it for years) then you might grow negatively towards it. I did, but I just needed a long break from it.

I have to second the vote for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I had been avoiding the title up until the other day, it seems the patches have finally fixed enough of the bugs and the performance to make it quality. And yeah, it is a really fun mix of FPS and RPG elements (looting of armor and weapons.)

I too am trying to kick the WoW habbit. As of now I need something to hold me over for about 1 month, which is when The Orange Box comes out and I will be enthralled once again by the crack that is Half-Life. I am thinking about getting on Nightfall and if its any good I may get Eye of the North. I played the original and it kept me busy for about a month non-stop so I figure it should be fun and it's alot more casual friendly than WoW. Also I would consider Bioshock, but it needs a couple more weeks to get the major bugs fixed in patches. Other than that if you like a good story consider Dreamfall, which I really enjoyed although it was a bit short, or possibly NWN2 which I have some mixed feelings about.
