I wouldn't go that far. $30 would be my max. The game was quite broken on release.

That price is almost ridiculous. E.Y.E. is certainly one of my strangest gaming experiences this year. I always felt that this game was lacking in many departments, but I somehow couldn't stop playing ;).

For 2.50-5 bucks it's a great deal, but for 10 or 20 bucks? NOPE

I liked it but it's a very flawed experience complete with horrendous tutorials (It basically shows you some videos that can barely explain anything, for example, the hacking tutorial is very incomplete. Picture something like Steel Battalion or ArmA without manuals, tutorials or any sort of help), poor performance, enemies respawning very quickly (It's even worse than FarCry 2) and a fairly non-sensical plot.

I know people like it because it haves no "hand-holding" but I think there's a big difference between something complicated that actually explains everything (Like X3: Terran Conflict, the tutorial may be a bit useless but the manual is incredibly useful and it's a fun read as well.) and something that just tries to make everything complicated for the sake of it without explaining anything (There's a 10+ second video just to explain reloading that ends with a line that says "Or you could just press "R" ". That's not complexity, that's overcomplicating.

I bought the 4 pack but haven't played it yet.. how long is it? Also is it co-op in a way most games are or some nerfed spin of mode?

I have no idea what the hell is going on in this game but I like it.

If you played Stalker or Deus Ex and liked them, buy it.

I find the complaints about it being difficult and unclear to be kinda stupid. I watched like three of the 23 videos and from there I figured it out myself. I mean, it has tooltips FFS. Hover the mouse over anything and you'll be fine.
