Fable 2 not coming to PC why?

Well i am very shocked about fable 2 only being for the xbox 360 and mean why? why can't the PC have the game aswell heck it would be even great for the PS3
to have it due to this game would be a hudge hit!

If it's not coming to PC, hopefully it's because they realised that almost no one with a keyboard and mouse to rub together wants to play it.

Really, Molyneux - what went wrong? Bullfrog is responsible for some of the best games I've ever played - and Lionhead started so well with Black and White, despite its flaws... but then... man. Talk about wasted potential.

Anyway, it probably will come to the PC, just a little later. The multiplat-but-consoles-first is a fairly common model for publishers now.

Molyneux said himself that Fable was not as good as it should have been, give the guy a break. Maybe this time, he'll actually make Fable 2 the way he wants it to be. The hardware is a lot better this time around and hopefully he'll take his time and make it into a classic. Just because it's a console franchise does not mean it automatically sucks, you know... Play the game first, then critisize.artur79

Last I checked, the 360 also has major piracy problems. Halo 3 was all over torrent sites and people were playing before it was even officially released. Same with most other major 360 releases.

A DVD firmware hack isn't all that complicated, and there's countless newbie guides out there that allow Joe Gamer to play pirated games on their 360. Console game piracy may not be quite as widespread as PC game piracy, but it's been having no trouble catching up over the course of the last generation or so. It's more widespread now than ever.

I personally don't care if Fable 2 doesn't come to PC. The first game was hyped beyond belief and only managed to disappoint.

agree Peter Molyneux is full of it. IMO he's almost as bad as John Romero.

I bought it for 10$ quite some times ater release (didn't even know it was on pc); and I enjoyed it A LOT

Hmm, in the interviews I've seen with the guy, he seems to be pretty careful with what he is saying about the gameplay and features. He's clearly stated that unless it's in the game, he won't talk about it. I like devs with new visions and fresh ideas. I'm willing to give him a chance, unlike some other graphics oriented behemoths that think more polygons on screen = innovation. Cough* Epic *cough.

as for fable 2, all i can say is 'meh'

didnt care for the first one, though it was a good game. If I hear one more person say "chicken chaser" i am going to snap though.

It's a bummer, but the only real way to sell a console / PC / System is to make good exclusives.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fable 2 come to PC and I'm not worried about it right now. Microsoft seems to like making ports of its 360 games so it can make some cash off its monopoly in the computer market.It'll work even better for them if they make it Vista only or some such requirement to get even more people over to the OS, as long asit's not 2010 and a new OS is out.

If Fable 2 never comes to the PC it's not that bad. Fable was an ok game, nothing great or inovative, and the sequel will be more of the same. I suppose it depends more on the 360 popularity than anything else as to if if comes to the PC.

And it's probably coming for PC eventually, just like with Fable, like after a couple months it released for PC as the Lost Chapters. So you'll get fable 2 on pc, just you'll have to be patient.

Just read Revelation while you wait for the game. Not the greatest book I've read (although it has it's moments, pretty detailed torture and stuff), but a great introduction to Mass Effect universe (God, I'm a nerd... reading prologues to games now?).

Umm, dunno, have not read those...

Anyway, the guy's name is Drew Kapryshyn. Don't expect a masterpiece. A lot of political mumbo jumbo in that book, I felt the author was a little crippled in his artistic approach (I can see Bioware execs whispering in his ear: "You have to put intergalactic conflict in your book, then some names of planets and Nebulas, then a decription of 10 alien species..." and so on). But the parts where he gets to write about certain chars (a lot of them appear in the game) are pretty well done.

If you're not going to play the game, don't read the book, there are better novels to read out there. If you're planning on playing it, the book will add another dimension to your gaming experince, I'm sure. And you won't have to read the Galactic codex all the time...

good rpgs are a very rare thing on any system and i was just joking
