I've been playing Lionhead games since Black and White. The company has it's root in the PC market and it seems that recently were to be treated as red headed step children to the Xbox 360 and it's army of suger shocked 12 year old Halo fiends whose sole purpose is to consume massive amounts of juicy juice while bashinga controller against their skull. At the time of writing this Fable 3 will be released on the 360 in 23 days. 23 days out and PC gamers do not even have a release date. I'm still waiting on a Fable 2 port, buthow much are you willing to bet that Fable 3 gets canceled just like Fable 2? I'll bet you a juicy juice.

Look, I dont know what PM or the team at Lionhead are thinking, but you guys really need to remember the people that played your games before your platform success (Fable doesnt count, it was released on both PC and consolelike games should be). I should not be forced to purchase a console which has outdated hardware FAR below what I and most people have on their PCs just to suffer through low FPS andplay a game thats only excluvise to the 360 tomake Microsoft more money. So tell me whats the real reason Fable 3 got delayed? Drm? Piracy? OMG THE PC INTERWEBS PIRATES!

Yes, let's talk about piracy. Let's talk about how 360 torrents are available to download sometimes 3-4 days earlier than the PC version. Fable 3 is about "touch"? Lets TOUCH on the fact that most console gamers have 2 consoles with one owned solely for the purpose of playing pirated games. Dont believe me? Why wouldnt you? Why do you think Microsoft has an arcade console? They want to help save you money huh? Since when does a company that sells windows for $200 care about saving you money? It's only a PC issue because Microsoft makes money even off games that are pirated and if they dont they have the ability to ban your console and force you to pay them. Only Microsoft could think of a way to make money off of people stealing from them right? Business 101: cant beat em? Sell them the hardware and join them. The only thing they're lacking is a tutorial.

Lets keep thinking that games (not just made by lionhead) are either delayed or not released at all on the PC because of piracy. Lets all keep thinking that Piracy will be the end of PC gaming. The truth is, a parasite will never kill it's prey which means the PC market will never die, it will simply become weaker and weaker. How does George DOUBLEYA Bush, a former cocaine addict and alcoholic become president? The same way Microsoft creates exclusive titles: Pay people enough money to keep their mouth closed and do what you want them to do = Lionhead sold out.

Fable 3 is going to bedownplayed and canceled and PC gamers will again just chalk it up to piracy without even saying a word about it while Mircrosoft runs to the bank.

Unfortunately some of the kids here need TL;DR version, even though you did kind of drift away after the second paragraph. :) Basically, exclusives sell.

Very few gamers do this. But I agree with you on the whole.

And after all that, my anger is still directed at the good-for-nothing, don't-give-a-crap-about-anything pirates. I can boycott a developer's game because I don't like the drm they put in it. But, the anger is always at the pirates.

You seem to be missing the point. Companies exist, not to make you happy or to give you shiny things for having bought their stuff 10 years ago. They exist to make a profit. No more and no less. When a development company decides to delay or cancel a game for the PC (or any other platform) it's simply because they believe that it will result in more profit over time. Piracy is probably a major factor in such a decision, so is Microsoft marketing I'm sure.

The whole conspiracy theory that MS want to increase piracy so they can sell more console.. uh.. right.

Remember that Microsoft owns Lionhead, so no, Lionhead didn't sell out, they were bought out. It makes sense for them to want to show a preference towards the X360. By doing so they not only generate profit from the game itself, but they entice people like yourself to buy their console. Sure it sucks a it for us PC gamers. But that's one advantage of playing on a console that's supported by a major corporation (there's plenty of disadvantages as well: Cost of games, cost of multiplayer, lack of control over your hardware and so on).

The solution is simple though. If you don't like their policies, if you feel you are being treated poorly by the company... don't buy the game.

There is nothing to comment about because there is no actual reason to do so, this is not the MS forums or Lionhead, I just wanted to say that you are naive (you were talking about kinds) if you think that gaming isn't really dead, "gaming", doesn't matter if you believe or not what those misinformed guys allover then internet say about PC games being dead.

We already know the real reason why MS delays or refuses to release xbox exclusives on the PC. They are on record as stating why they do it

On a global scale the Windows Vista business is as important as our Xbox 360 business. But in Germany for example, we want more gamers to buy our Xbox 360. If we launch a game that is on 360 and PC simultaneously, we basically shoot ourselves in the foot by allowing the German market to choose to play the PC version – because they are more likely to buy that than spend their money on the Xbox 360.Peter Zetterberg

There you go everything answered, it had nothing to do with piracy or DRM and has everything to do with Microsoft trying to dominate the console market and reduce consumer choice because they know if they give the consumer a choice in certain territories then the consumer would rather gouge their eyes out before they go near the xbox version :P
