peter molyneux said 360 exclusive during the E3 microsoft press conference so it isn't worth anything, E3 is mostly a console gaming event, at least the conferences are, and microsoft a has a wierd conception of exclusivity. i think the PC version will come, but probably a little later than the 360 one.

I was amazed at this when they announced it for PC and yesterday Molyneux said its a 360 exclusive.

okay...I thought the story in Fable 2 was too shallow and the game play was good, but nothing top-notch. Also, the art wasn't my style. That and the annoying developer for the game kept on going 'we have the best cast in the whole industry' and other boasts kinda gave the game a false image and I was tricked into thinking it was going to be really great so I got it. A big disappointment. So now I'm weary of the actual quality being offered Fable 3. Hence, I'm not really looking fowards to it

Better explanation?

thats better, but it is coming to pc. For microsoft if it isnt on ps3 or wii its xbox 360 exclusive.

Please tell me you guys didn't expect Microsoft to release the PC version at the same time as the console version :roll: It is well known that MS see's the PC as a competitor to it's console so you won't get a game like Fable 3 released on the PC and 360 at the same time. What will happen is the PC will get it a year later, no one will be interested in it by then, sales will be abysmal and then it will all get blamed on piracy. IN other words it will be another Halo and Gears of War mess.

They would actually be doing themselves a favour if they did cancel the PC version. I don't want sloppy seconds on the PC and thus Molyneux can take his "creative" games and shove em where the sun don't shine.

where microsoft is concerned, "exclusive" means that it will not be coming to a sony or nintendo device, it may or may not come to pc.

This. No one ever called it 360 exclusive, they just called it exclusive. Also, Microsoft hasn't officially announced Fable 3 for PC. And probably wont until after it comes out for 360, since they make more money from 360 sales.

As others have said, Fable 3 is 360 exclusive like Episodes from Liberty City was 360 exclusive, i.e. it isn't exclusive. Pretty straight-forward.

Game journalists will soon be needing translators accompanying them to E3 to translate from s***e to English.

An Xbox 360 exclusive means its only coming to THAT console. A PC is not a console. Splinter Cell Conviction was called an Xbox 360 exclusive and no mention of PC was made until Ubisoft themselves made it clear. Fable 3 will be released on October 26th, but the PC version will most likely come December, around Christmas.

Microsoft's and Sony's exclusive mean its not available on a rival console so most likely it will still come on Pc Even if is not coming i'd rather play witcher 2 and kings bounty 2 over any Peter Molyneux overhyped game

They always say "console exclusive" at Microsoft press conferences. They said the same thing about Splinter Cell: Conviction--they said it was 360 exclusive but it was announced for both 360 and PC.

I kinda saw a thread like this coming when Peter said at E3 that its an exclusive. I guess that means he was not the one who wanted a pc version. Lets just wait and see.
