Fable 3 PC to Use GFWL and STEAM!!!!

They are finnally ditching that GFWL Only. Thank God, Games for Windows LIVE is the worst thing to happen. I guess I am picking this up now.

They are NOT ditching GFWL, if you buy Fable 3 from Steam it will still come with GFWL infested in it. There have been plenty of GFWL titles sold on Steam, the most obvious one is GTA 4. All MS are doing is showing that they have little or no faith in their Games For Windows MARKET PLACE.

Its like Section 8; You'll be forced to use BOTH steam and GFWL.

Isn't it the same thing of gta iv, you can launch it from steam but you still have to log into gfwl

I still might buy it just to check it out and have some mindless fun, but I'm not holding my breath on it. I've heard nothing but negative opinions about the game so far.

So its finally comming out huh wow that took forever. I already got mine on the 360. I got tired of waiting.

I've never had any problems with Games for Windows - LIVE myself, but I can understand why my fellow PC gamers would find it annoying. I'm incredibly happy about the steam implementation, though.

It still amuses me that this game comes out on the same day as a certain other RPG... :P

I love Steam. GFWL is kind of gimmicky and feels like an after thought. However I will never buy another Peter Molyneux game ever. The amount of BS he spreads about rehashed gimicks disgusts me, and his games are boring at the best.

What is so bad about GFWL? Why is it always in a bad light? I really want to know this because I have had no problems with the service. It doesn't infect your computer with viruses. It doesn't make every game it touches suck. It doesn't sell your personal information to advertisers. It isn't inherently evil. So what does it do that is so horrible?

Bing's share of the search market continues to grow, so Bing is not a failure. Even if GFWL is a cheap knockoff, why is it so hated? What it tried to change three years ago when it first appeared on the scene should not matter now.

Its being released 6 months after the console at full price.

To justify this they include the add-on content, fix a few bugs, tweak the interface, add a few new skins, and wrap it up in that silly shiny wrapping paper known as 3D and people are happy about this. Why?

This game is at best $20.

Hopefully steam is not required. If it is thenit is at best $10.

Although I should give them some credit. I was sure they were not going to actually release the game on the PC. But, there is still time to cancel.

I'll pick it up for Christmas .... maybe.

Uggh. One of these are perfectly acceptable. Another one..... is horribad. But its not surprising considering the game is Microsoft published, so there is not really any room to wiggle out of it unless GFWL dies like now.
