well first post your specs to determine whats high end.
Second, the faq says that people who fail the test even though they meet it might be because there looking for specific candidates. If they are trying to test crysis on ati cards, then putting a 8800 GTX won't help (this isn't the case, but just an example. Maybe another part of your comp doesn't meet it).

it starts to matter when people sign up for the beta like that imputing false information when all they have is a geforce MX 440 and a pentium3, getting beta keys just because they can and leaving out the people who can actually run the game.
Betas should come with an app that verifies your hardware before giving you the key, much like how the gametesting website or Steam does hardware detection.
