How can I wipe my hard drive on my computer? cause I have lot's of crap to get rid of before I give this thing to my parents, and I don't feel like doing it manually

idk why, but newer factory computers dont work with that command. if the computer came with a boot disk, it usually has a wizard for formatting. use it if you can, makes things very simple

What so hard about sticking a dos boot disk in the drive, and typing format  c: after it loads?
