Or you could be original enough to come up with your own jokes.....
Truth is, if this was the PC version that was leaked, I'm sure there would be quite a few people in here "trying" out the game to see if it's worthy of a purchase.
Hell all of us would have the ability to do that.
I have a 360 but this news is nothing more than a link...I'd have to pay for my 360 to be modded and void the warrantee on an unstable console in order to pirate it. Not as easy as the PC and not too smart either.
some1 should mail the CEO of Crytek this info, make him think twice before leaving the pc community cuz nomatter where u go there will always be piracy
EPIC FAIL on the console side, this should shut all the f**king crybabies up, the problem ain't only found in the pc-side
damn developers with they're lame excuses
NOW GO MAKE ME SO QUALITY GAMES SO I CAN BUY THEM DAMNIT
*and put them up on steam region free pls*

What ratio of 360 owner have their consoles chipped to play pirate games.,....its very small! As for PC's every single one is pirate ready!
oh well.. leaked 360 version ?. That's one good news. :D Now we can expect PC version to beat 360 in sales number. also.... I really hope that Gears of War 2 gets seriously POWNED by the 360 Pirates & Epic fails to achieve a good sales number with that game. They get owned owned owned every month by Playstation 3 titles. & I hope Cliffy gets fired & kicked from his job & never gets to see his own creation running on the consoles... Cuz Poor GoW2 sales on 360 this year => Heavy Losses to both Microsoft & Epic => The possibility of the PC version next year for extra profit! :D
I hope Cliffy B sees that news and eats a big, heaping, steaming, bowl of sh*t.attirex
yea that too. :P
Who wants to bet Microsoft has already paid/threatened Bethesda to not recognise its existence? When a PC game gets pirated devs cry to the hills, consoles have representatives to damage control stuff like this.
After all; protection from piracy is part of the reason developers put up with the console licencing fee.
Is it me, or is Bethesda really bad at the whole "keeping track of our own crap" thing? First they supposedly lose the Daggerfall source code, which I can't even begin to fathom how that happened, and now this? Chresus Jist o_0...

I definatley hope this happens.
I doubt its all that unusal, losing source code to old games. I bet there are lots of 80s/90s games and apps whose source code is gone. Why bother if its never going to be sold?Captain__Tripps
You make it sound like they lost/ditched it because they couldn't sell it. They can't sell it because they lost it, not the other way around.
And the reason most games from that time might have their source code lost is because the people and companies who made them aren't around anymore. Bethesda is very much still around, and the only reason they lost anything was because they were irresponsible and didn't take care in keeping track of their assets when they moved their studio.
Lol that seals endles "pc piracy" claimsLidve
Well, no it doesn't... Fact is, 100% of PCs are capable of pirating games/music/software. For the 360 you need a modchip, which involves soldering and breaking the warranty. I'll take a wild stab and guesstimate that at *least* 95% of X-Box owners don't even think about attempting it. If you actually look at the torrent sites (most popular system for piracy), you'd see that this leak isn't popular at all. Last a checked (about an hour ago), the leak had only a little over 100 seeders on the most popular torrent. If it was the PC version that was leaked, it would probably be close to 10k by now.
Console piracy is not new, hell I remember back in the 80s a couple friends would somehow obtain blank cartridges for their NES. The Dreamcast was practically just as easy to pirate games as the PC with no mod chip needed (of course....that was part of the reason it died). The PSP and Nintendo DS are VERY, VERY heavily pirated... Not sure about the DS but the PSP just needs custom firmware loaded.
The point is, piracy does NOT affect game sales as much as publishers want people to believe. PC games have always sold less than console games, it's just a fact of the industry. If a developer want's to make a game without having to worry about hardware limitations, they'll make it for the PC. If they want to make a game for the money, they'll put it on a console.
wow i'm really shocked that many PC gamers are actually happy about this. It's just sad.lordlors
I don't think people being happy about this makes them fanboys.
When you are constantly getting your ear bitten off for crimes you did not commit, it is refreshing to see someone else get it for once. Developers who whine about PC piracy jump to console gaming, because it is apparently safer over there. People are enjoying the irony of a console game getting pirated before the PC version.
It's not PC vs console mentality, if anything it brings platforms together because of a mutual issue. Piracy is not a PC only problem, it is healthy to get reminded of that every now and then.
lol ! im going to make sure all my friends pirate this :). I hope this effects the #'s for the 360 :) woot woot ! Every go tell your nooby ass friends that 360 version is out and free!maden2004

Yes. I am "happy" to see this happen to xbox rather than PC... I think piracy should be viewed as an industry wide problem, not just a PC problem. I wish soemthing could be done hardware wise on the PC, so at the very least you'd also have to make a hardware mod there too... And I think people would be much less inclined to mod thier PC than a console...

Agreed. So much piracy happens for other systems, it's beyond frustrating to hear developers complain about PC-exclusive piracy. Sure it's not as accesible on the newer systems, but it still happens.
Also: lol.
I'm so glad that happened. Now stupid developers will notice that PC isn't the only system games get pirated.
Hopefully console piracy will get more massive on the so called "next-gen" systems very soon. It's only a matter of time before dumb developers like Lucasarts feel a terrible regret for leaving the PC. Stupid, stupid Lucasarts. Idiotic Bethesda. Ridiculous Crytech. Turn back to the PC or you'll suffer a terrible destruction.

Haha you're completely right. When I read the title my first though was "how did I not hear about this?"
But then I kept writing and saw that there's nothing to get excited about.
haha, Epic Fail on the Devs part. Come on how can you actually be that sloppy to get your game leaked out before the release date. (I know its happened before with other devs) If publishers and devs really want to combat piracy, I really think they need to keep an eye on their product before its released. "Figure out what you have done wrong, before you start blaming others"
I buy every game I play, I don't care about basic DRM, but when they start releasing games with a limited activation and give the user no way to get back installs. Then it begins to annoy me. At least this give the publishers something to think about, so they know they have their own mistakes that contribute to piracy and its not the paying consumer's fault.

Damn pirates... i dont condone downloading games illegally at all, but any impressions? :P
I still have it preordered, but each time i wonder if i should cancel my pre-order. Never been so unsure of a game, the first 2 fallout games i loved the death.
Its funny though how theres been all this talk about pc games leaking and getting pirated so much, and yet fallout3 gets pirated on 360 first and the 360 forums are just full of people bragging about downloading it. not very smart i tell ya.

Huh? Majority of console gamers in Pakistan own Xbox360, and it's chipped. Infact, it sales got higher than ps3(in pakistan) mainly because ps3 games couldnot be cracked (i think because of the Blu-ray).....and Xbox30 games are availbale in the market for just $2.5...................
