Fallout Online finally shows it's face

So Fallout Online decided to show up today. Clicky here http://www.fallout-on-line.com/ to sign up for Beta (and please only do so if you actually want to help and aren't just looking for a free ride)

I signed up a while ago and I'm just looking for a free ride. Whatcha gonna do about it? :D

nothing lol. I've been Beta testing for almost 10 years though and just get sick of seeing people come here or some other forum and complain about the game. Medal of Honor was a class example of that. They need to complain to the Beta boards and Devs, hence why they are doing Beta, to get feedback.

It's never going to come out, one of those games that gets stuck in endless development like Duke and Half Life Black Mesa.

I don't believe that it will because, thankfully, Bethesda has nothing at all to do with this project (other than owning the licence to a franchise they didn't create and tried their best to destroy).

Frankly, I have my doubts as to whether or not Interplay can deliver a deep and engrossing Fallout MMORPG (or even finish the game) but not having Bethesda involved is certainly a good thing for Fallout fans.

Well hopefully it will turn out to be something good, but my hopes are low. I love the post-nuclear, armageddon settings and I had alot of hope for Fallen Earth, I think it was called.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste level of the average consumer.
