Fallout online launched yestreday!!!

And it's full of bugs and server fall down all the time and it's hard as f*ck and that's awesome... at least!!!

There are 2 versions.. Russian (Life after) and Europian (2238)... Screw Russians... join the Europian one... Hoooah!!!

EDIT: Apparently it's made by someone in Russia. Check the torrent on their site - the game has 500+ seeds. There's definitely people who know about this.

If I wanted to play original Fallout then I'd start up Fallout 2. An MMO is stupid imo, and that's why you're not getting the hype you wanted.

What? Fallout isn't populer at all. The first 2 did not sell millions of copys.

oh dear =) anyway if you're interested you just need fallout 2 (or download those 2 files (masters.dat and critters.dat) from a noname site which can be easily found by goodle.. psst) and then client,

it's like fallout tactics skirmish but with many players and leveling... and buying vehicles and owning a house and ganging up for raids and new maps and gauss and kalashnikovs and cities and.. =) cya there

you can kill anything you want (if it won't kill you before) just killing other players won't give you XP, maybe there will be some special arenas who knows.. I'm struggling with it too ;)

There's nothing illegal about it. I can't really get this working too well, but once it is working we should create a Gamespot clan. We'll claim some regions for ourselves. ;)KHAndAnime

so is this the fallout mmo we have been hearing about ? or is it something different? because this looks like old fallouts, and i was thinking the fallout mmo would be like fallout 3.. you know. look like it came out within the last 3 yearsnimatoad2000

yea they don't have it all done yet, the good thing is that it's fanmade and thus 1) there will be patches for everything 2) you can have your ideas implemented in the game

the server was yesterday laggy.. maybe too much players, anyway about the versions.. it's not just language difference.. these are 2 seperate project (God knows why) one is developed in Russia. one in Europe.. you need just one installation and then to choose where to play just switch IPs in the config.

And about illegality.. well.. engine is brandy new, it just uses textures and models form the older fallout I think if you will look at it as a mod, it's totally alright.. besides the brand will be alive and active.. it's like Paris Hilton.. as long as she is active her shoes and parfumes will be sold =)
