Fallout or Dead Space?

WHO HERE THINKS I SHOULD BUY FALLOUT FIRST THEN DEAD SPACE? i think that both are pretty cool but i want the peoples opinion on these things, i pretty much love rpg anyway...

if someone could be kind enough to reccomend another cool game comming out on october, that would be awsome.

Anyone know what the system requirments are?

im using a vista with a 985 chipset video card i think

Fallout 3 will be a huge mix between FPS and RPG, with VATS, and regular combat both being decent options, plus it will be an open world with many possible outcomes. All I've found so far on Dead Space is an interesting story line. The fact that EA's behind it makes me cringe...

i can agree with that.. download the demos to both games, and get the one you like more, and save teh money until you get tired of that game,,, then you can get the other one, because it might have gone down in price by then.

hmm lets see if the more the better and more freedom the better, like eg that crysis is better than cod 4 then how do you say that a lineat game is more than an openended?

Not to take any offense to Fallout players,
but Fallout 3 doesn't look interesting at all to me
as a Sci-Fi gamer.

Dead Space is way more geeky science fiction wise,
and the horror concept just interests me even more.

depends on your favorite games. Like if your interested
in Halo and Star Wars then I would prefer you Dead
Space.

ok, let me give this a shot: when i saw the demo for fallout 3, it didn't capture my interest at all and looked really boring; however, when i saw the trailer for dead space, it looked really, really interesting and a lot of fun to play. and hence, imo, dead space looks a gazillion times more interesting and fun than fallout 3.

Well, that's kindof the point. F3 isn't really about being all serious and geeky, it's about being hilariously dark and geeky. There's a huge difference, and for those who haven't been very involved in the series to date, I think it's a hard distinction to make. One quote from the original that sticks with me, just about everytime I go to work on my car is, the description for the game item, large pipe wrench is something like "A mechanic uses a tool like this, to hurt people..." There may not be much geek in there, but it's the humor I'm pointing at.

Fallout 3 has shown to be every bit the same as the PoS psuedo rpg Oblivion was from previews... So I will be looking at Dead Space.sSubZerOo

which is ea crap and rip off resident evil 4 and prey also not scary stupid areas adn deathboring, ill pass this game aint ss2!
