Is it just me? Or is the PC superior to the xbox, playstation, and wii? Every game that is shipped on console and PC looks better on PC, Plays better on PC, and seems plain on better than the console version. Who agrees?!
Consoles have their ease of use..PC's dominate on everything else.But then again..its 2009,i would think most people are computer literate enough to work with pc's and fix the occasional error or bug in pc games.
Not every game looks better. Not every game plays better. Not every game runs better. Potentially, PC games can look, play and run better, but that's all too often not the case. Due to the nature of the hardware, PC games are difficult to develop, and the returns are often disproportionately low compared with its console brethren. A lot of developers don't see the incentive to spend extra development time making the PC version as good as it can be, especially given that it will make less money than the generally easier to develop console version(s). So, yeah. We have better hardware. No question. Do we have better looking and running games? That's entirely in the hands of the developer.
