The FarCry franchise is pretty overrated, apart from pretty visuals I don't really see whats special about it.

FarCry 1 is a great game, it was ahead of it's time..graphic wise. But, beware it's a little hard.

Farcry and HL2 both came out in the same year, it seems 2004 was a real turning point for graphics.

^^This...FarCry 1 alone is worth the price. It was ahead of it's time not only in graphics but also in the wide open game play it brought to the table. It was and probably still is a hard game and also quite long. One of my favorites. FarCry 2 I didn't care for so much, but there are many different opinions on that one, you just have to play it and decide for yourself...You can't go wrong for $4.99 on that bundle deal.
