far cry 2 and bia...

i just got far cry 2 and bia hells highway... i created a lan server on fc 2, and the other computer cant find it... thats wat happens to both games... need help?? (i have laptop and pc)

are they connected to the same network? That might be the problem. If they are, then try a direct IP search from one computer after you create the game on the other.

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but that does seem pretty odd.

Mayb its because when i was setting up a wireless connection, for some reason i merged all connections, so in my network and sharing center its stefan (my pc name) > internet adsl (its supposed to be lan) > laptop

then i failed to connect wirless, and just plugged in ethernet,, and it stayed like that on both pcs.. it looks wierd, but internet and sharing works, and some games do too..

or can you tell me how to unmerge connections?

i just work here. in other words, no fricking clue. The hardware forum would probably help with that. Glad that you (probly) figured the problem out.
