Far cry 2 graphics

So what you think?

I think it's very attractive in the sense that it's a fully realised and authentic looking environment with a very worldly feel to it.

I don't think the actual visuals themselves are technically impressive, but the game will still be a very enjoyable visual experience thanks to the size and diversity of the environments.

in some of the videos the graphics don't look that great. In particular the night video. Other then that it looks awesome, still an iffy buy for me.balla4162

yeah in terms of techinical... i hope lighting is good like bangell says cuz soem how i doubt, but they look attaractive authentic, i like em!

The graphics look spectacular. Especially when one notes teh lack of LOADING thats done in this game. Crysis had loading all over the place even though it was supposed to be open world etc. Each new area loaded. Given it was huge it wasnt FarCry2 size. I think this game looks very similar to crysis. The PC version should be able to get that resolution cranked up and nasty and AA and AF going as well.ColdfireTrilogy

main problem with crysis for me is how small levels were, i mean anyone remember the ea jungle dx10 vs dx9 fight, duh WTF why he game aint like that!

I do not like how the character models look from a distance. Other than that the game looks amazing.6matt6

What makes you think that?

I think the graphics look pretty good technically. But at the same time, some of it sorta feels generic to me with the cheap plastic gloss over many models - like the trees and boulders in the terrain. Roris0A

Graphics dont make the game, if that so you get at least 3 best game ever every years that SUCK in 1, 2 years, Basicly you be happy every year!

ehh the shining? the heat style of graphics how exotic looks eg like far cry looked exotic, the water eg but not crysis!thenewau25

Crysis looks more exotic than Far Cry with the right ToD and settings but I agree Far Cry looked pretty exotic.I don't find the Graphics of FC2 very unique,I mean there's a safari with animals,huts and buildings,and well more safari,and some jungle.I don't find much variation at all.FC2 should have more variation cause it IS an open-world game though.

about variation there are jungles deserts savanas, i dont understand how technical crysis has more exotic areas than far cry, check the screenshots plz!
