Far Cry 2 in new PC Gamer

Very good stuff. Far Cry 2 will be about realism this time around. No mutants or anything. The storyline has a bit to do with assassinating targets and delving deep into Africa. Looks good. There's some screenshots too, but nothing we haven't seen before. Doesn't look quite as nice as Crysis though.

If Crytek was developing this, I would've hyped this game a lot more. Also FC's story wasn't all that great so you wonder how they'll be able to continue the story from that.mo0ksi

I still need to fully read the article but it might be a different storyline.

EDIT: It is. No Jack Carver. You get to pick your own guy w/ his own backstory. This is a mercenaries game.

Okay , with Crysis around the corner ... I think this game is going to be burried in the sand !

Both of themarejungle-Combat based games , and Crysis is more likely to be better in every aspect ! so you get the big picture !

farcry 2 is supposed to be more similar to STALKER then to Farcry...I think the games will end up pretty different.....either way they coming out a year apart.

yeah, really, there's nothing similiar between farcry and farcry 2, just the name... they also mentioned in the article that endangered animals aren't going to be in the game, but yet you can slaughter 100's of humans (not saying that's bad in a pc game)

Ubisoft doesn't think he's pro. According to their "research", he's just some loser that nobody cares about. So they felt it wasn't important to include him in the game.
