I've always been a fan of "sandbox" or "open world" games and i played crysis demo which was kind of like that but i really loved the destructable enviroment, adn at the end of the month i'll have enough extra to buy Orange Box and 1 more game and i wanted a game that fits what i just listed, and i named a few in the topic title that looked that way, which one should i get? Any other reccomendations?

How can you compare Fallout with crysis or farcry? :o If you're in to FPS, get Crysis. Farcry 1 is damn tough and 2 isn't that great. Fallout is a great RPG, and you should get it you are interested about the RPG aspects instead of the battles.

dont bother with warhead, its just a standalone mission from somwhere in the middle of crysis. dosnt add anything to crysis and on its own it fails at everything exsept grafics.

bollocks, warhead's a great game, more linear and more stop start than crysis but also more action packed. both are must haves. stay well away from far cry 2

Well it seems you want a modern sandbox game. So why not get GTA IV? But if you're only choosing between the ones you listed, I'd go with Crysis.

Crysis + Warhead. Warhead is better IMO.

Personally I'd go for Fallout3, but if it has to be a shooter I'd go for Stalker:SoC.

Depends, if you want FPS, then Crysis + Warhead, if you want RPG then, GTA 4 and/or Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 is more like a shooter rpg than sandbox shooter. From the remaining 3 definitely Crysis + Warhead.Far Cry 2's concept is nice and all, but the reseting guard posts make the game extremly repetitive and boring after a few hours of gameplay.(at least that is what happened to me)

if you want an action packed FPS game, definitely Crysis

but Fallout 3 is a better example of sandbox gameplay.

Crysis warhead would be my first choice and if you have any interest in online gaming it is all the much better. Crysis wars is very good. It comes with Crysis warhead. The original Crysis is good too but there are a couple levels I didn't like.

Crysis is a FPS, one of the best of it's genre.

Fallout 3 is a WRPG, one of the best of it's genre.

Crysis DEFINITELY. The gameplay is better than Warhead, it's more open/choice-based. The levels are HUGE for being a shooter. It's only rivalled by Far Cry 2. Warhead has large levels, but its a MUCH more linear game. Think of it like a John Woo movie - there's a huge battle with a LOT of bullets flying everywhere, but it's not quite masterpiece level. Crysis is a masterpiece, and the pacing is a little better, exploration mixed with frantic gunplay. The graphics are much more optimized for lower-grade PCs with Warhead, though.

Get Crysis Maximum Edition, it's Crysis + Warhead + Crysis Wars.

I've decided to go with crysis, and i might get that because it's just killing 2, actually 3 birds with one stone, then i'll get Fallout 3 and i'll hold of on Far Cry 2 since no one has reccomended it. Also i don't like the GTA games, but the crysis demo, just that level i play over and over again for fun... thanks for all of the comments and replies!
