I am so getting that. I've been wanting Far Cry 2 for a while. Although, it'll probably stay unopened until I'm done with Assassin's Creed II(may favorite game of all time)

It is not worth that high. if there was a way steam allows user to sell their stuff, I probably sold mine that i got for 44.99 for preorder.

its repeitiveness is beyond your imagination, unless you enjoy those enemy-at-every-choke-point, you will not like it, i gurantee it.

even if i got it cheap, i think it really deserve more ... thanx

says the oblivion guy......far cry 2 will get on ur nerves really fast... i liked it.. in the beginning... but respawning enemies,full clip to kill 1 person and long distance driving will test u lol

I played FC2, and i think its a fairly decent game. Its fun to play in short bursts. Also its good to change your tactics when assaulting some place, like try sniping everyone, or sneaking through everything with your machete, or going rambo and run in with a grenade launcher and an automatic shotgun. :PIantheone

I bought it for $20 at Gamestop.

I had alot of fun with the game.

It is only repetative because it is a GTA style game.

Singleplayer is fun, plenty of weapons, and a pretty cool system for regenerating only certain sections of health.

Multiplayer is dead apparantly.

For $5 to get only a single player game that will last a little while, it sounds like a good deal.

its worth that for sure- i paid full price and love the game- it runs like a top for me maxed out settings- auto patches- its beautiful and fire fx and sky are great- as for repetitive- well thats on you- if you want to play the game step by step the same way over and over again is on you- you have the option not to fight and go around or attack from different directions and different ways or weapons or just hunt diamonds- or just explore the massive game world- you will find buggys or diamonds in places you would think nothing would be out in the middle of nowhere.would i have liked some rpg elements yes- maybe 1 more weapon i can carry yes- would i have loved to be attacked by lions maybe or crocks in rivers etc yes.

is it my favorite game no- i play it on hard core skill its a blast- but i really have no 1 real favorite. i like different things in different games- i will say im very happy fc2 ran like a top out of the box and was not buggy half working garbage like many and get higher ratings- can you say stalker soc or clear sky or fo3 or crysis gta4 and some other buggy half working junk that gets 1 or 2 more high a score than they should- ha ha repetitive is its greatest complaint- its funny- what or who is repetitive the game or them playing it. make's ya go hmm.. you can walk ride or take a boat- its gliders to get diamonds up high in places- reviewers on these sites have agendas and genres they like more than others thus some get better reviews and some game companies spend a ton of cash and for ads and for better reviews lets not forget those things either- if you want a 9- 9.5 or 10 game rating- well- spend a ton of cash for great reviews- make the most buggy half working crashing or poor port game you can- or a game that has system requirments that will be 4 years before hardware catches up- or a sp game you can finish in less than a day- you are good to go- a review or opinion is like butt holes- every 1 has 1- but you can bet the normal user will be more honest in his review- he is not getting paid so.

most all of these review sites official reviews are a joke- read user reviews and goto game home site and read and check and see if it is complained about for buggy junk and see how the home site and moderators treat folks or if they let fan boys attack you etc. what about past record and patching etc.i wait read and see these days- i rarely buy new just out games any more- im sick of being burned with buggy junk or sp games that are over in 10 minutes- dont matter to me if i ever buy another game- im surely not buying crap just to be a good guy and put some fool in a new house or his kid through school. but too- i understand some users are pretty stupid- i seen folks at beth fo3 site complaining fo3 did not run well on his p3 and ati 9800 pro at 1920x god what ever high res- i was thinking. why not ban that fool and delete his post versus arguing with him or trying to help him..

It's all about strategy! I found that to be the best way to take that particular big daddy down. Also the mouse acceleration is easily adjustible ;). Anyway I was only playing with my mouse on 800 DPI I find that 2000 DPI is too sensitive and gives me a headache to be honest. Also keep in mind that I was recording with FRAPS so whatever lag you see is being caused by fraps. Also I was using a PS/2 keyboard not USB and my video card was also causing some lag as well. You see my PC setup is certainly far from perfect however I think I did very well under the circumstances ;) :D

the only game i use mouse acceleration in is ut04- i turn it off in all other games- but normal mouse speed i normally turn that up near most high- some games i have to dial it back a lil to steady or even out my aim etc.. if to high i feel my aim is spastic and is more hard to hit what im trying toaim at.

google it- im sure you can maybe still find them- i bought 2- 1 as back up or parts- but have my back up system in the extra 1 now- my only complaint is the molded window has no 120mm intake fan and impossible to mod and add 1- so i mod the case and add either a 80 or 120mm intake to the front of the cases use up some of the 5.25 bay slots- my game system i use 120mm and just 1 opt drive- my back up rig i use a 80mm and 2 opt drives and to burn drive to drive if need be- but sweet looking cases- cool and i love the display and 2 thermal sensors- they are large cases and plenty of room for massive vid cards etc- the removable mobo tray is cool too.
