Far Cry 3 how to restore Saves?!

hello i started playing Far Cry 3 today and suddenly i realised my saves were gone as i could only click the option Start New Game. So i unhid my files went into Program data, Orbit, 46 and my saves are still there!!! Can anyone tell me how i can make the application notice the saves?

I've heard of FC3 having issues not recognizing save files when it's switched from DX9 to DX11, or vice versa. I can't be sure of that, though, I only ever played in DX9.

Also, I don't want to jump to conclusions, and assume you pirated it, but I know "unofficial" copies of FC3 don't like to recognize saves if the saves, or the game folder itself, has been moved or transferred. And I do believe that Uplay backs up saves for legit copies, which should prevent that kind of thing from happening.

Oh did a patch break saves? I haven't played it since like a couple weeks after release.

When it do not show your save game mission just once exit to desktop and again start the game and it must show your save game status.
