Far Cry 4 $30, 50% off

Is it worth the price, better price than the one on Steam. I think it's just Uplay only tho.

The PC download is Uplay only. I bought it this morning and would not let me activate my key in Steam. But as it has been downloading for a couple hours now, it has been just as fast as Steam. It's 31 gigs. All the other platforms are also on sale.

I certainly was never going to pay regular price for this game, with the consensus of reviews saying it is more like FC 3.5. But based on the reviews I have read, it would seem that 50% off would make it worth it.

I'd say, it's not worth more then $20.

I would wait until the price drops farther.

honestly.... i hated farcry 4.

it didnt feel right, and the missions were downright boring. i really dont understand why people love that series so much.

Fun game. Too bad it still runs like garbage even after months of being released. I had to spend a few hours just trying to get it to work without crashing or game breaking graphical bugs.

I enjoyed it. It's basically just FC3 in a different setting.

Got it for ps4 for $30 last week and really thinking of getting this pc version jus to play in 4k... Ive played 10hrs so far and really like the game for some reason moreso than farcry3

Seems like for Ubisoft games, all you can do is buy their games months (years ?) after release to get the better working version. As they just can't seem to bother optimizing for PC.

I turned off motion blur and lowered the AA and it ran fine for me all the way through.

(All my other settings were on HIGH-ULTRA)

I think they just gave up on the game. More than three months after release and the game is unplayable with SLI setups as it is.

I'll add to that and say that one of my friends that has SLI is running it fine now (he had issues at launch).

To be honest, with the little support for SLI and the amount of problems people have, I wonder why they bother....

I got it free with my GTX 980. I put a few hours into it. It's pretty.

I will pick it up at a later time... I would rather pay 30 for Assassin Creed myself...

I bought it on Day 2 via Uplay. The lag wasn't that bad to begin with, certainly nothing like the ones I saw in YT. A quick workaround pretty much eliminated it. I finished the SP campaign in two weeks. Just like Far Cry 3, my main draw to the game is the Reset Outpost mode which is perfect for the short play times my schedule forces me into.

Sometimes, I just fly around, admiring the scenery. Once in a while, some Royalists would spawn which broke the routine.

The way I like the screen....uncluttered by crap such as minimap and ammo counters. One reason why I prefer FC4 over FC3.
